World-Class Angling
Africa has an incredible variety of unique, hard-fighting fish that sits on top of many anglers bucket lists. These include the Nile Perch (weighing upwards of 200 pounds), the Goliath Tigerfish, and the unrivalled saltwater game fish found along the Southern African Coast of the Indian Ocean.
Our fishing trips can either be arranged in conjunction with a hunting safari or be the sole purpose of the trip itself. Throughout many of the concessions that we hunt, we have nearby access to waters teeming with trophy fish. A few of the destinations we offer trips to include:
Inhambane, Mozambique
Big Game fishing in the famed Benguela current of Mozambique. Species include Black Marlin, King Mackerel and Yellowfin Tuna to name a few.
Seychelles Archipelago
The World's Premier saltwater fishing destination. Primarily consists of fishing for species such as Bonefish, Trigger-fish and the Trevally family.
Rufiji River, Tanzania
One of the last unspoilt rivers in Africa home to the giant Tanzanian subspecies of Tiger Fish. Other species include a wide variety of Bream as well as the famed Vundu catfish. This river is easily fished if hunting in our Selous concessions.
Lake Mteri, Zimbabwe
Located within a private property in the Chiredzi district of Zimbabwe, the Lake offers some of the best bass fishing in the world, with a current record of a 17.65lb largemouth. Also home to a wide variety of Bream species.
Dullstroom, South Africa
Known as the trout fishing mecca of South Africa, Dullstroom is a small town in the Natal province of South Africa and is home to hundreds of Trout dams. Both Rainbow and Brown Trout are to be found.
These are the main fishing destinations we offer, whilst for the more adventurous fisherman, there are a number of other lakes and rivers where trophy fish can be targeted. For those not wanting to lug around extra fishing gear on their hunting safari, we have a full range of quality tackle that is available to rent. Should you want to use your own equipment, assistance with selecting the appropriate patterns of lure and fly as well as tackle will be given.
For keen anglers looking to target trophy fish throughout the rivers of the dark continent or along the pristine beaches and islands of the Indian Ocean, we are able to tailor an expedition just for this purpose or alongside the hunting safari of a lifetime.
Fishing with R.S.C
A fishing Safari with RSC is a trip which you will look back at as one of the most relaxing, yet exciting, things you have ever done. Time does not exist and you are completely in control - except for the currents and tide off course.
Should you choose to chase the big one, or rather relax on pristine wonderland beaches, the choice is yours. At your disposal always are plentiful drinks, great food, sunblock a-plenty and great company. This is a hunting-extension not to be missed.
